I am not very good at understanding processes.I found this Thread after having Opened Wordpad in my Windows 10 programme - for the first time in a year or so - I was trying to familiarise myself with it.
I presume how do not need to follow install procedures - as it is already installed.
what I want to do now is to set a default font and font size.
I am not sure if that information is available in this thread - so have written this short report and will investigate further.
My overall objective at present is to find one simple text input programme that I can quickly use to write notes for myself and draft emails and such like.
This offers more than Windows (should I call it Microsoft) Notepad because it offers a variety of text formats and basic word processing features - so maybe sufficient for my Purposes.

WordPad is installed by default in Windows 10, so you would only need to install it if you or something uninstalled it.
This tutorial is only about installing and uninstalling WordPad, so it would be best to post your other questions in the Software and Apps forum area.
